Visiting Hawaii was one of the best decisions I have made. During my January trip to Hawaii, I visited Oahu, Island of Hawaii, Maui and Kauai. The sky was crystal clear and driving above the clouds was not unusual.

Oahu
Oahu is probably the busiest island out of the big 4. I didn't take many pictures here because everywhere was pretty touristy. Though I did buy most of my souvenirs here.

Island of Hawaii
The Volcanoes National Park was huge and we got to drive under a rainbow! We didn't get to see the eruption.

We also rented a 4x4 because the path to the summit of Mauna Kea was too steep and bumpy for a "regular" vehicle. The view up there was beautiful!

Maui
The end of Road to Hana was rather a disappointment because there was nothing at the end. However, there were many beautiful waterfalls on the way there. Before entering narrow winded path, we spotted this farm near a lookout I forgot the name of:

One has witness the sunrise or the sunset at the summit of Haleakala National Park. I did the latter because we couldn't buy the ticket for sunrise. However I am sure the sunset was equally beautiful. Though, the more I look at the photos I took of Haleakala, the more I regret taking them, because I could have spent so much more time to watch the actual fireball falling beneath the skyline.

We also went to snorkel near Molokai but unfortunately there weren't as many ocean creatures as we'd like to see.
Kauai
The lookouts from Waimea Canyon State Park does not pale at all compared to other national parks. In fact, I think it has the most unique landscape out of all the mountains in Hawaii, but who am I to make such a claim when I have only visited Kauai once?

We went on a sunset cruise for some dulphin and whale watching. Wild life protection is so strict in Hawaii that the ocean is full of creatures!
